Whelan’s Ones To Watch Day Two: 5 To See

Tonight sees the second round of new Irish music at Whelan’s as part of their annual Ones To Watch festival. Here are five of the acts you should look out for:

Windings

Last year they released the album of their career. Yesterday they were nominated for the Choice Prize. Tonight join them to celebrate.

Girl Band

Getting no little love from the Brits at the moment, the Dublin four piece bring the noise and then some.

Soil Creep

Experimental project from Porn On Vinyl and Hipster Youth’s Aidan Wall.

Ginnels (pictured)

Yet more Popical Island magic.

Cave Ghosts

Keep out the cold with the quartet’s sunny harmonies.

Tickets for Ones To Watch are €5 per night, €10 for the remaining three gigs.
