Win Arthur’s Day tickets

The worldwide celebration of Arthur’s Day is back for the third year including Scissors Sisters, Stereophonics, Calvin Harris, Paloma Faith, Aloe Blacc and The Enemy who will perform exclusive sets in a mix of traditional pubs and intimate music venues throughout the country on Thursday, 22nd September. Arthur’s Day honours the legacy of Arthur Guinness, the pioneering brewer and philanthropist who signed the 9,000 year lease on the St. James’ Gate Brewery in 1759 and introduced Guinness to the world.
For this year’s shows there are four city hubs this year in Dublin, Cork, Belfast and Limerick and all studio artists will also play a surprise pub performance on the night.

To celebrate Arthur’s Day, we’ve teamed up with GUINNESS®, to offer you the chance to win a pair of tickets to The Academy on the 22rd September.
