Xbox Live Stage comes to Oxegen

Festival goers go all out this year

Gamers will be pleased to hear that the Xbox Live Stage will be part of the Oxegen festival this year.

Festival-goers will be given the chance compete against each other in variety of computer games on massive 46 square metre, high-quality LED cinema screen.

However, if your game console ownership extends to a dusty Super Nintendo somewhere in your attic, you can still enjoy the fruits of this new stage.

The stage, running from 12 noon on Thursday and 10am each day of the festival, will feature live performances and VJ sets from the likes of Eclectic Method, as well as various film and television shows.

And Batman fanatics (c’mon who isn’t?) can look forward to a special themed night dedicated to the caped crusader.

Holy festival madness, Batman!
