Zombie Computer cover Seven Nation’s Army track

Recent Psychonavigation Records signees Zombie Computer have released a cover of the recently departed White Stripes track Seven Nation Army. Check it out below.

We would describe this as a trippy rendition of ‘Seven Nation Army’ which is very true to the original but also gives the bands own spin to it.

The track is part of a free music project entitled This Cover ( in conjunction with Harmless Noise) which will see the band release several free tracks in the run up to the release of their debut album Indian Summer in June 2011.

Indian Summer is the embodiment of a ceremonial juxtaposition of Dance and Indie guitar music with a D.I.Y Punk ethos.

The Cork band have already collaborated with former Motown Records Songwriter Leon Ware who has worked and written for musical greats such as Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye and Quincy Jones to name but a few. Ware is featured on the title track ‘Indian Summer’ with a beautifully written and performed spoken word piece which is complemented by Zombie Computer melodic and rhythmic sensibilities.
